Benefits
Tempe Sister Cities
The Oktoberfest at Tempe Town Lake is an established tradition, regularly attracting 200,000 people over the three-day event. Oktoberfest has something for everyone: free admission, free entertainment on four stages, a traditional Bavarian beer garden, wine gardens, bratwurst and strudel and free kids activities.

The event is produced entirely by volunteers and is recognized as one of Tempe's major attractions. Proceeds support student and teacher exchange programs with seven of Tempe's Sister Cities. This large-scale, free, community event has one of the broadest demographic ranges of any Tempe event with strong family appeal during the day, and a 21-45 year old high-energy demo after the sun goes down.
With its families by day, young adults by night atmosphere, Oktoberfest's 150,000 annual guests represent a vast cross-section of the public.
